***After almost no deliberation, we have decided to call the city Bayview***
The first order of business is the name, of course. So give some suggestions of city names, and we'll see what we get.

My offering for a name is Bayview. I'll leave it up to the rest of you to be critical of it, but it seems suitable to me. I'll continue to think of others as well, and if I come up with anymore, I'll start a list. Sarah came up with the wonderful idea of starting a list of city names so that individuals can switch them out at will, so that'll be up shortly.

Not that anyone cares but I'll throw mine in.
I have a whole world and my main city, is misty city. And you'd probably never get it unless you played in my Misty City RP... which was very short lived...

Yeah, I remember Misty City. I actually thought about that when I came up with this idea. However, Misty City as a name doesn't really apply well to a modern setting. It worked great with your setting, but it just doesn't seem to fit well in this one.

Misty City was set on an imaginary continent, with no references to the modern world whatsoever, so it would be categorized as a high technology fantasy, not modern, because modern not only refers to the technology, but the modern world as well.

Alright, since we haven't had any other suggestions, I suppose the city will be called Bayview.
